In a bowl, empty the cookie mix, blend the mixture by hand, Mix in 1 stick of butter, 1 egg slightly beaten and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
*Ideally you want to wait 24 hours and let the dough rest but if you live with kids, this might be impossible.
Shape the dough into walnut size balls and place them 2 inches apart on a parchment lined baking sheet, flatten them with the palm of your hands and they are ready to go in the oven.
