Chocolate Cake Trop Bon
Chocolate cake super easy to make and very delicious!
Here’s a fantastic recipe to do :
Simple, extremely tasty, you can beat it and the best thing to do is to pick the spatula and the bowl at the end 😁
- Dark Chocolate - 250g or 1 1/3 cup
- Salted Butter - 250g or 1 cup or 2 sticks
- Sugar - 175g or 3/4 cup
- Eggs - 6
- Flour - 2 tbsp
Melt your chocolate with the butter on a Bain-Marie or in the microwave (be careful not to over-bake!).
Separate the whites from the yolks, reserve the whites.
Once the chocolate is melted, add the yolks, the sugar and the flour. For the flour you can use any kind of flour. Buckwheat for a Gluten Free version adds a very interesting texture and compliment the cake very well. Mix until nicely incorporated.
With your electric mixer or by hand, beat the egg whites until fluffy.
Fold the egg whites to the chocolate mixture gently and put it in your mold buttered 😊
Bake at 335 for 25 to 30 minutes, and don't forget to lick the spoon!!!!

Enjoy cold, ideally a day later... the intensity of the chocolate kicks in 😉
